The  property auction scheduled to take place in Esentepe on Sunday the 4th July 2010 has been postponed. This sale is the result of a dispute between the 2 directors of Fatisa Construction and 7 properties sold by them in Tatlisu are involved.  A further auction of Fatisa properties may take place later in July.

Tutuska

The families involved in the Tutuska apartments auction have passed on their heartfelt thanks to all of you who supported them in Girne yesterday. Unfortunately the turnout was very poor despite the fact that thousands of you could be in the same position in the near future. Will you want support when your turn comes?

As no bidders attended the auctioneer closed the auction early, it will take place again in approximately 3 months time unless a solution is reached in the meantime.

On Sunday the 13th June at 10am seven apartments which were built by Tutuska Construction and paid for and occupied by buyers will be auctioned by the District Land Registry to pay for Memorandums in favour of Ahmet Kaya and Guray Haksever. see Land Registry Notice below.  The auction will take place in the coffee shop opposite the Girne Courts.  Please turn up to show you support for these victims - next time it could be your home. Land Registry Notice

Kulaksiz

Many thanks to all of you (approximately 750 people) who turned up to support the Kulaksiz buyers yesterday. Unfortunately the auction did go ahead and it appears that the land and houses were sold.  The consequences of this will not be fully known for a week or two so please avoid listening to and spreading hearsay.

The date for the auction of the Kulaksiz Karsiyaka properties has been set for Sunday the 6th June 2010 in the Durmus Pasaogullari Coffee Shop in Karsiyaka Square (going West it is on the right hand side opposite the Lapta Belediyesi sub-office), starting at 10am. See Notice posted

Please support these unfortunate buyers by turning up at the auction for a peaceful demonstration of your abhorrence of this situation.
