Law
and order exist for the purpose of establishing justice and
when they fail in this purpose they become the dangerously
structured dams that block the flow of social progress.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
In every country of the world it is every citizen’s responsibility to uphold the Laws of that country.
It is the duty of every Government to enforce the Laws of their own country.
Illegal builders

Yet, there are over 300 illegal builders in the TRNC none have been shut down none have been taken to court!
If an illegal builder has built villas and sold them, does that mean:-
Permission to Buy
It is illegal for a foreigner to buy before they have PTB. This is a requirement of law, to be concluded before the process of buying begins.
Does that mean that?
Whatever government is not a government of laws, is despotism, let it be called what it may. Daniel Webster
This I believe is the tip of the iceberg, we all know the system is rotten from top to bottom; a lot of us have seen it in action.
I and many others, find it hard to believe that the Judges and Magistrates of the TRNC are not aware of these flagrant breaches in the laws of this country. Yet we see no action being taken against the wrongdoers.
So it begs the question, are any of the 300 plus cases pending in the local courts going to get a fair and impartial justice? If simple laws are not enforced up front, what hope do we have that they will be enforced at the end?
The List of broken TRNC laws is endless. A country that does not enforce its own laws – to the detriment of its citizens, denies those same citizens their basic human rights.
So far the Government and their legal representatives have been the direct cause of misery, injustice and despair to over 2000 foreign and local homebuyers by not enforcing TRNC laws.
Before long someone will take the TRNC to the Court Of Human Rights.
Good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws. Plato
